Digging up bones

Bumbling around on laptop, found an old submission letter I'd typed up, and thought some of the 'self-review' was interesting.

Apprentice Swordceror(working title) is a debut novel that tells the story of a young man trapped between the separate and incompatible worlds of Wizards and Warriors. The main character, Kevon, is easily identified with, possessing the raw talent we all wish we had, and the naiveté we hope we lack. His journey through betrayal, love, loss, and personal growth is accentuated by the friends and allies that he comes to surround himself with. The story will appeal to classic fantasy fans, while the different angles on magic and standard fantastical races will satisfy those who need something different than the usual fare.

Now I just need to finish getting it out there.

Trying an "Umphant" Return

That's "write". I'm back.

Been out of the loop for too long. Inspiration has been rough until the last little bit. Over 2/3 of the way finished with book 2, seems like it will be a little longer than I was planning, but will not know for sure until I get to editing. Plans starting to firm up for primarily self E-publishing later this year, looking in to Lightningsource, and considering local advertising when I launch.

Going to have to dig deep and spend more time with the writing, which will be somewhat tricky since I'm going to be taking on more overtime at work this summer. Moral support of any kind is most welcome at this point.

Also, if you see I have not posted another update in two weeks or more, please kick me if you see me.
Thanks!
