You must Submit!!

Well, I must submit, I guess. Fired off a few chapters to Stonehouse Ink, would like to work with them because they're local, but my book may be a bit too risque. We'll just have to see!

Halloween Party

Hung out at The Smith Corner last night, carved pumpkins, ate WAY too much homemade chili, and just had a good time being around real people. Nice for a change. Will try to get some pictures uploaded soon.

Recent developments

Friday afternoon I attended the Idaho Book Extravaganza. I'm still combing through my notes and shuffling through the business cards and flyers I collected, but I got a ton of helpful information. There were several incredible speakers, each with different angles on aspects of writing and publishing. My favorite had to have been Aaron Patterson of Stonehouse Ink, a local author/publisher in Nampa. His experience with publishing has made me re-think the whole process, and I plan on trying to get some face-time with him soon, try and  get my first book out on the internet so I can get this whole writing career rolling.

Getting it started

Wow. This is the third or fourth blogsite I've tried, and this one is actually manageable. The site is still a little rough, and I haven't had time to flesh it out as much as I would like, but it's a start.
