Above: Author Chris Hollaway at the book cover release event for Journeyman Warsmith. $.32 per book first day of sales was pledged to the Ada Community Library's special events department. The resulting $250 donation was used to fund 'Harry Potter and the Wee Little Parody' in October, a Chaotic Acts of Theater production. Payette County

Above: Fruitland Elementary Superintendent Teresa Febrecious, Principal Jared Olsen, and Librarian Mary Lee accept a donation check of $1500 from Chris Hollaway.

The donation was 100% of the estimated proceeds of U.S. sales of Apprentice Swordceror during the 5 day period the school held their annual Book Fair (rounded up).
Another recent donation was $200 to the Fruitland High School library.

The Hollaway family was also presented with the Fruitland School District's annual 'Friend of Education' award. The nomination was based on time volunteered in the Elementary library, with the PTO as Box-Top Co-Chairs, and the library donations.
