Ten Steps at a Time

That's what it seems like, anyway. Everything is starting to happen at once, all over again. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, just a little overwhelming at times.
Journeyman Warsmith is with Ken Rodgers for the first round of editing,a few weeks ahead of schedule, and a few thousand words shy of where I thought it would be. The story doesn't feel rushed, but we had managed to schedule a ton of extra writing time to try and placate some of the rather rabid fanbase.
The latest revision of the cover art just came in, and it kind of has me wishing Marelle was a redhead. It's going to take some more tweaking, but we're almost there.
Today will see the beginning of writing on book 3, and somewhere in between all of the coordination with artwork, editing, and continuing on with the writing, we'll have to squeeze in final edits and formatting for the Createspace print version, and meetings with the audiobook producer. And find out why the ISBN isn't working. And work up test questions for the Advanced Reading program. And so on.
Sometimes the hardest thing is slowing down to make sure everything is done right.
In a couple of weeks, I'll post an interview with Ken about his documentary, Bravo! Common Men, Uncommon Valor.
Until then...
